Could karma be an approximation for mechanics of a large variety of related phenomena?
In this case, there is no one singe “karma field” just as there’s no single “energy field” in physics. Its just a convenient model to explain and predict the state of a system.

Karma as a Queue/Buffer
That choices/volition create karma, which is then added to the buffer. When the buffer is flushed depends on when the system is ready for it to take fruit. Nonetheless, all karma will eventually be cleared.
