Perhaps heaven need not be specified or constructed in one’s mind. That these dimensions already exist, perhaps through collective fabrication, akin to earthly biology, might be enough for the mind to grasp onto and develop a form therein.

Heaven
I will describe a theoretical heaven in terms of five sensations with thoughts as a sixth. With a being’s experience centered around their body, equipped with sense faculties.
Pleasure in every channel of sensation, thoroughly devoid of displeasure. Joined with pleasure, one is continuously satisfied, their thirst in a state of quenching. Devoid of displeasure subject to aversion, they are naturally well free of it too. Thus, with all yearning attenuated below a threshold, how could any negative emotional states arise? Occupied with the five pleasures, how could displeasurable thoughts naturally arise?

Slices of the Ultimate
That the ultimate must be omnipotent, yet it incarnates with a subset of its power as human beings. Using that subset of power, a limited experience is granted. The gods in heaven have a much larger slice of that power, and wield it accordingly.
The scene is set by the omnipotent, but is experienced in a limited maner. Some control is given to the volition, limited, and the rest is already set, outside of the volitional control.
So enjoyment, perhaps, is experiencing higher levels closer to the ultimate from a limited perspective. Limitation and separation is pain, like stress built up in the body. Releasing that limitation is enjoyment, like stretching to relieve the stress.
