Guidence by Knowledge
Knowledge is that reference by which one is able to make favorable choices. With perfect knowledge, any volition that may come to be has the potential to be absolutely optimal to the maximization of contentment in the future. Aware of the consequences of their action, prudent and conscientious, the astute secure their happiness by acting according to varying degrees of correct knowledge. Any system which is fully understood is considered to be solved — knowledge is the key to solving this maze of existence.

So then as there is volitional causaiility, and a potentially infinite domain of choice at every moment where there is an opportunity for choice, out of this domain how does one know and choose those actions which are most condusive to this ideal? The answer to this life is quite apparent and well understood. Things here abide by a relatively comprehensible model of operation. With one’s intellect they may break things apart and make plans that are relatively certainto come true. But what of one’s expistence beyond the breakdown of this body? That involves domains about which there is almost nothing known. All we have is the testimony of the wise who claim vision into those domains.
